Meet Dana Shanks, Paralegal

Dana has been a part of Dan Brazil’s team since 2014. Working in the field since 2009 and holding her Associate in Science in Paralegal Studies degree, Dana is experienced in the field of law. Her primary goal is to be available when you need her most, answering your questions and helping you navigate the paperwork and process. Making each client feel like the only client, Dana gives her all to meet each need consistently.

In her spare time, Dana enjoys the great outdoors, frisbee golf and spending time with her family.

Meet Hannah Nguyen, Paralegal

Getting her start in criminal law, Hannah began her journey as a paralegal in 2015 with a paralegal certification from Berkley. She has found her way into personal injury and civil law, becoming an integral part of Brazil Law Group. Hannah spends her day answering client questions and providing needed support for their case. She believes that clients deserve to understand their case inside and out.

When she’s not in the office, Hannah is teaching yoga, hanging out with her rescue dogs and drinking way too much coffee.

Meet Hilda Bonfil, Legal Assistant

Hilda joined the Brazil Law Group team in the summer of 2019. From gathering client data and records to answering client questions, Hilda plays a critical role in moving cases forward. Originally from California, Hilda moved here to Minnesota and continues to seek ways to help the community. She’s fluent in Spanish, allowing us to better serve our Hispanic clientele.

Meet Pamela Almeida, Legal Assistant

Pamela has aspired to pursue a legal career since childhood. Before joining Brazil Law Group, Pamela worked for a law firm and did an internship at the state attorney general’s office in South America.

She began her law studies at the International University of Ecuador (Lawyer of the Courts and Tribunals) in 2018 and earned her LL.M. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2023.

Pamela speaks Spanish and English, allowing us to connect with a broad range of clientele. She prides herself on her ability to truly listen to each client’s concerns, keep them apprised of their case, and bring peace of mind through sound legal solutions.

Her expertise in tort law and passion for her work makes Pamela a valuable member of our legal team. Outside the office, Pamela enjoys reading, singing, playing the piano and baking delicious desserts.
